The tale of a solemn journey of Ichhamati, a river-like woman and the souls around her whom she loves and cares and shelters. The journey includes all the human emotions and all the ups and downs of life in a miniscule spectrum. The story reflects the not only the journey of the central character Ichhamati but also the whirls in the lives of the characters as Ador, Ronjaboti and others who represent the young generation of this time. It's a saga of love in the broadest sense of the term, it's a saga of sadness that comes automatically with selfless love, it's saga of resurrection to light from the abyss of darkness.
