In this age of globalisation all of us are aware of the value of knowing foreign languages. Spanish is the national language of as many as twenty one countries and it is one of the top-most languages in the world in terms of the number of speakers. In fact Spanish is not only the mother tongue of all Spaniards, but is also the official language of almost all the countries of South America and Central America. Thus it is a language much in demand in business, tourism, hospitality, industry and sports.
"Español en directo" is a text book for beginners who may learn it as a first language or a second language in schools and colleges. I have tried to help teachers and students by adding to cach lesson a set of exercises and class activities.
